The design of pallet racking, and it’s inherent safety characteristics, is a serious OH&S
matter. We advise customers to think carefully before purchasing so-called ‘compatible’
racking components.
There is the potential for serious accidents to occur if sub-standard racking
components are integrated with genuine, tested Dexion components. The purchase
of racking should be a matter of good corporate governance at the highest management level.
Certificates provided by importers are not a guarantee that the manufacturer has
carried out extensive testing or applied soundly based structural design methodology.
