Dexion and TZ Limited partner to exhibit unrivalled parcel locker system at POST-EXPO 2014 Asia Pacific
Leading storage and materials handling specialist, Dexion is joining its smart device technology partner, TZ Limited to exhibit at POST-EXPO 2014 Asia Pacific in Hong Kong on May 20 – 21.
Bringing together world leaders in the postal, parcel and courier industries from across the Asia Pacific region, POST-EXPO 2014 will focus on business development and innovation. The exhibition presents an ideal opportunity for companies to connect with the Asia Pacific’s leading postal operators and showcase their latest innovations to key decision makers.
Dexion and TZ Limited will be displaying the recently released TZ A.D.A.M. Parcel Locker Network, which is revolutionising online shopping for customers through providing an alternative delivery channel.
The state-of-the-art Smart Locker system is the first fully automated end-to-end parcel locker network offering of its kind in Australia, providing a convenient, secure and cost-effective way for time-poor shoppers to collect their goods.
Dexion National Sales Manager – Commercial, Michael Cumner said the two companies are pleased to be exhibiting at POST-EXPO 2014.
“Both Dexion and the team at TZ are very excited about the upcoming POST-EXPO conference and exhibition. POST-EXPO brings together the best companies in postal operation from across the Asia Pacific region and presents a unique opportunity to showcase the unique capabilities and benefits available to this niche yet important market,” said Mr Cumner.
“Our feature product on display will be the TZ A.D.A.M. Parcel Locker Network, which was released earlier this year. This system was developed in partnership with TZ Limited with the aim of completely revolutionising online shopping delivery methods to make life easier for the consumer.”
Through partnerships with e-merchants, e-commerce service providers and courier and logistics companies, the TZ A.D.A.M. Parcel Locker Network allows customers to have their parcels delivered to a locker at a convenient location of their choice. The customer receives an email or SMS notification once their parcel has been delivered and lockers are accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for absolute convenience.
As e-commerce continues to gain momentum, the demand for parcel delivery services continues to grow. With a number of TZ A.D.A.M. Parcel Locker Networks already installed in shopping centres, commercial office towers and services stations across Australia, Mr Cumner believes that interactive lockers are the way of the future.
“Parcel lockers provide a seamless end-to-end solution for the changing lifestyles of modern consumers whose main priority is convenience. It is very exciting to play an integral role in the deployment of a network that is shaping the future of online shopping,” Mr Cumner said.
