Perth Round Preview

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick note to give you all an update before I leave for Round 2 of the V8 Supercar Championship Series in Perth.

It has been a very hectic couple of weeks that has included the Adelaide Clipsal 500, a visit to Kadina in South Australia then Melbourne last weekend for the Australian Grand Prix.

With that all over I am now fully focused on this weekends role of achieving another podium result at Barbagallo.

I have really stepped up my training this year as I think in this current V8 Supercar climate where the cars are so similar driver preparation is going to be critical in getting an edge on the opposition.

We started the season with a great result at the Clipsal 500 and I intend to build on that result and my championship standing come Perth.

The team is doing a fantastic job of providing me with the best possible equipment and I am fully committed to doing the best possible job on track for both the team and yourselves.

Finally keep an eye on the telecast on Sunday as thanks to our championship position I will be carrying one of the six in-car cameras that will rotated through out the field this season and I am sure that this will give you a real insight into my 'day at the office'.

Once again thanks for being a part of my team and I hope to report to you post Perth with an even better result than we achieved in Adelaide.
